Bengals to Sport Glam in Support of Scholarships
When the ladies of Cincinnati Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. (DST) recently went to a "Who-dey" rally on fountain square, only two Bengals showed! This disappointing fact only spurred them on to boldly call Coach Marvin Lewis and invite the whole team to the largest major event DST has ever attempted in Cincinnati – the world famous Ebony Fashion Fair Show!
Yes, these ladies held the line as Coach Lewis signaled for a no-huddle order of several VIP tickets - So on Friday, November 9, 2007, Bengals can sport their "Glam" at the Ebony Fashion Fair Show in support of DST scholarships funded by the Show's proceeds. Fashion show begins at 8pm.
The ladies of DST are rolling out the red carpet at 6pm for the Ebony Fashion Fair 50th Anniversary VIP Reception for Greater Cincinnatians to celebrate the contributions of this remarkable arts institution to the African American community. All events will take place in the Northern Kentucky Convention Center and show seating starts at 7:15pm.
